At a loose end this weekend? Make your way to the second floor for of Marylebone’s Alfie’s Antique Market for an exhibition room set out with iconic pieces from the original Festival of Britain in 1951.
The small exhibition features pieces of design history from Alfie’s dealers’ private collections including a Gazelle table designed by Ernest Race, original Exhibition postcards, brochures, textiles, rare furniture and collectables. It is going to be fabulous and a real, rare insight into genuine vintage treasures.
